Assassin’s Creed Odyssey announced, will be set in Sparta

Ubisoft has just officially announced  Assassin’s Creed Odyssey , the new game in the saga that will be set in Ancient Greece , possibly in Sparta .

The announcement has been preceded by the inevitable leak, which has forced the French company to submit it ahead of time. He has done it through a brief announcement on Twitter with a teaser that you can see below.

In the video we can see how a soldier dressed in a Greek armor kicks an enemy and throws him into the void, paying homage to the famous scene of the well in the movie 300 . This is the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey teaser :

Ubisoft has not offered more official information, since the game will be officially presented at the E3 2018 fair that will begin on June 12.

The leaks tell us that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey  could be played by two different characters, and that for the first time in the saga there will be options to choose from in the dialogues. It will be interesting to see where the game is located in the chronology, because the previous title told us that the Assassin  originated in the time of Cleopatra, and so it seems  Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set much earlier.

The Assassin’s Creed saga is one of the most popular of video games, to the point that Hollywood shot a movie of the same name,  Assassin’s Creed . In recent years it had lost popularity due to the annual launch of games, which were launched with quite a few bugs. Ubisoft learned the lesson and dedicated two years to developing the great Assassin’s Creed Origins , with which he has regained the trust of critics  and fans. So this  Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is waiting with great expectation.
