Reed is a very interesting platformer for Android from the studio PXLink, in which we are waiting for an unusual story with a rather difficult task. The game boasts original design of locations that are barely larger than the screen area, an interesting graphic design in the style of Pixel-Art, fun sound and simple controls. And visually this platformer resembles Cat Bird.

Gameplay reed

In the story we have to save some ancient computer, which has lost some magic cubes, allowing it to think. But visually, we see a picture of a slightly different plan. In the role of the main character, a character resembling a kitten is used. Moreover, the protagonist often meets a girl-cat, to which he clearly breathes unevenly. This is also said flying hearts everywhere. However, the developers insist on their version, which, in general, does not change the essence of the game process.

Our main task is to overcome all levels. There are not so many of them here, but for a couple of days, you will definitely have enough. Especially considering that some will have to take place several times in a row. The peculiarity of the gameplay is that all locations, without exception, are initially dead-end. At any site, a cube soaring in the air will be found, which we must pick up. As soon as the artifact disappears, a magic arch appears somewhere leading to the next level.
It is worth noting that in most cases you can get to the cube only in a jump. And there are often situations when there should be two jumps in a row. So, here is another nuance, but it lies in the fact that in some situations we have to jump twice to the block. Although sometimes it is enough once. Three virtual buttons are responsible for managing. The two left allow you to run back and forth, and the right is needed to make jumps.

In general, Reed for Android causes positive emotions and, despite the greater complexity of some levels, the game does not bother. Platformer is distributed in two options, but the difference between them is only in the presence or absence of advertising. Recommended to all lovers of the genre.

How to Download and play Reed on PC

Step 1. Download BlueStacks and install it on your Windows or Mac OS computer. On the first screen, tap “Enable” to connect to mobile accounts and you’ll need to sign in with your Google account from the Android Play Store. Then click “Continue”;

Step 2. Log in to your Play Store account and your Google account. Click “Existing” to enter your login information;

Step 3. After connecting with the Google account, the program will display the apps off the Play Store, with the options of applications, games and more, as if it were the screen of your Android smartphone. To search for your favorite app, and use it on your computer, click on the “magnifying glass” icon and enter its name;

Step 4. Now type Reed in the search bar.  After the search, click “Install” to continue and finish.

Step 5. When the download is finished click “Open”;

Step 6. Now your game will run on your computer, just like on your smartphone. To return to the Google Play Store page simply click on the “Arrow” icon at the bottom of the program.
