In just three months, Fortnite for mobiles has generated 100 million dollars

Fortnite Battle Royale continues rolling in the different platforms in which it is available. The game that arrived at the beginning of the year (not to be confused with the save the world mode launched in June 2017) has surpassed its main rival, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and has become a real success in all platforms where it is available. , including iOS.

Epic Games , responsible for the game, also build the graphics engine, which has allowed them to adapt to platforms as different as desktop consoles, PCs, mobile phones and even Nintendo Switch.

The Switch version was announced last week during the Nintendo conference at E3 2018 and became an instant success , with more than two million players in the first 24 hours. Now, however, Epic has reasons to get breast with other figures, mobile phones.

At the moment, Fortnite Battle Royale is not in Android , but the iOS version has surpassed, surely, all the expectations of the company. And, the game has managed to generate more than 100 million dollars in the first 90 days alone.

It is an impressive amount considering that its competition, PUBG, has only achieved 5.2 million dollars in its first 60 days on mobile. Yes, they are 30 days less, but the difference is substantial.

In addition, Fortnite Battle Royale on iOS is the second most successful game on the platform, behind only Clash Royale, the titan of Tencent ( company that also makes money with Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s own Battlegrounds). Two of the games that Fortnite Battle Royale has surpassed in iOS are Arena of Valor (also from Tencent) and Knives Out.

A few weeks ago we told you that the game had become the most successful free to play consoles , and these new figures show that the work of Epic, which constantly updates the game, is giving very good results for both them and company as for the players as users.
