But the new information says that HTC is not going to do this yet: Taiwanese manufacturer, on the contrary, is developing a smartphone on the future flagship chip of Qualcomm Snapdragon.

This is a microprocessor, which previously appeared on the Web under the name Snapdragon 855, and later – Snapdragon 8150. Not so long ago, Qualcomm company announced the beginning of trial shipments of this product, officially confirming that it will be manufactured using 7-nanometer technology.
Network sources report that HTC is one of the customers of the prototype of the new microprocessor. This gives an opportunity to imagine that the Taiwanese company is designing a new flagship smartphone.

Until officially introduced Qualcomm chip can work in tandem with the modem Snapdragon X50 5G, providing support for mobile networks of the 5th generation.
